Yeah, those were pretty rentless towards agressors. The enemy got to hear the source of their assured upcoming demise for a longer period of time for a more demoralizing effect compared to the A-10. When we go to a live fire excerise, the first flight usually strafes the target before he shows up over you for a dramatic effect. You only hear the 30mm rounds break the speed of sound on their way to the target and then hear the impact of around 65 rounds-per-second. You keep looking and looking and looking and finally here he comes.............inverted just above the tree line. [emoji50]We always preferred the A1E (?) Skyraider over a Phantom for air support. Low and slow is much more 'user friendly'.
"Hit that area over there." vrs. "Hit that dink."
Morning midlanders!
Tentative buy on the MS362 with totally screwed up carb and maybe clutch issues is $285 w/bar chain.
Supposed to be a two three year old saw in exc cosmetic shape w/case.
I fronted Ben some cash as he just closed on a house and is running some short.
And, Ben did snag the MS880 for $500.
All it actually needed was a tank rinse and fresh fuel.[emoji12]
I'm busy.
