So any ideas how to fix this or how it can be done? What I have read it's cast magnesium? Its on a Barker h-71.

Sand cast aluminum is more prevalent on them real oldies. And I understand it's weldable.

Magnesium, not so much. As in very, very difficult.[emoji37]

Should be weldable. I've tig weded cast aluminum and cast magnesium b4.

Thanks I wasn't sure if it was him I saw in a YouTube clip welding some saw stuff.

I think it is the 056xp model.
