Good morning.
Deja vu all over again. Dumped out another gauge full.
The normally dry ditch out back has been running 4-5 feet of whitewater through it for the last two days.

Oh, it's full up to the deck now. The safety cover lets water through it. Actually gotta go out and pump it down.

Well then probably have to start treating it earlier than ya want. Its still a tad chilly for swimming

The longer I stay away from the cement pond, the better off I am. If it wasn't for the grandkids, there would be grass there. [emoji11] Kinda like owning a boat........instead of a hole in the water that you throw money into, it's a hole in the ground.[emoji5]

Morning fella's. Another 3.5 in the tube this morning since I dumped it yesterday at 7. It's like walking on a wet sponge out there. Didn't even have to visit the spigot to water the chickens this morning. The water bucket was already full.

Morning midlanders.

I'm glad I cleaned out the gutters three weeks ago. It had been clogged up with sweet gum balls, pine cones and leaves.

House is thirty years old and the backfill settled more in front.[emoji15] Yikes!

We've been flooded in, have not been able to leave the place since mid afternoon yesterday. But no need to go, because Boiling Springs rd, 32 & 17 are closed. Have bacon, tobacco, beer & bourbon, so no need to leave.
All the necessity's.;);)

Took a break in drying the shop and finished my "City garden". Plastic 55 gallon barrels split length ways. 9 tomato plants, cucumbers, peppers, and bush beans right now. I'll also be doing corn and potatoes in the next week or two. Put up 2x6's and welded wire to tie the climbers to.
