Cleaned out the gutters. Sweet gum balls, leaves and pine cones. Move step ladder every three feet. Now both arms are shot/barkin'. No pull starting Clinton today.

I used to just climb on the roof to do it.

Yep. Wheat heading just now here.
It gets too big too fast, if you plan it too early in the fall. About the time it's 3 1/2 feet tall in real thick like hair on the dogs back, you'll run into problems with fungus.
We usually wait until it's pretty late to plant it.

It's grazzed long before 3' here. Sharecroped some back in 02-03. But I was laid up with a broken arm so I wasn't paying attention like I should've.

We always gotta fight the urge to get wheat in early. Everyone likes to see thick robust wheat going into the winter. We've had the best luck with wheat when we could still see dirt between the rows going into winter.
If you're going to graze it I don't think it matters. Lol

I also cut off the winterkill on the roses.
Blondie stepped of the porch to inspect my work. Right foot rolled of the edge of the walk. Fell down and scraped her nose.

Got the mulberry split up this afternoon .It was a little warm on the handle of the old Fiskier. Mulberry split really nice ,most of a rick I reckon.Dont nobody need these 372 big dogs, also 365 I think.

Those big ones tend to get in the way.
