A pawn shop here in Wichita has had one for over a year. He has it marked over $200. He may have too much in it. I know he originally thought it had a much bigger engine than it does.

Just an 041? If it were a super then sure. I got one of mine for $15 and the other just paid shipping.

Finally got it. Figured out the running rich problem.
It helps if you install the MAF sensor the right direction.
It was one of those "Duh" moments for him. Kind of feels like a dolt. But, as I keep telling him, "I don't think there is anyone else on the planet that is doing or has done this to a Bronco 2 before, so you're kind of in dark territory here. I think you've written the book on this, son" .

Some of you know my daughter Tarin that has been to many gtgs with me...well I figured I would share this with you all cause she could use some extra prayers tonight. Her and her friend were in a pretty serious accident a couple hours ago...Tarin is pretty banged up, maybe a broken ankle...don't really know about the rest. She's looks pretty rough. I got there about the time they were placing her neck brace on and helped them put her on the back board. She just got out of cat scan and x-ray so I will keep ya posted.....thanks in advance for your thoughts and prayers...

Prayers for your daughter, her friend, and you and family. Speedy recovery. Got daughters of my own so i can commiserate. Sounds as though they escaped with light wounds. Ptl

I got a 1951 Spanish Mauser ! First guy I bought when I turned 18 at the gun show $150!!! Its been a long while since I have had it out hard for me to find a safe place to shoot that thing
I might know a fella with a range in His backyard.... Just saying.

I have a 1954 model FN Mauser in 7x57.
It was my deer hunting partner's.
He got it at an estate auction for a pittance as most of the bidders assumed it was just a military conversion.
I used to reload for it and:
308. Remington 600
6.5x55. Carl Gustav conversion
7mm Rem. Mag. Mark X
260 Rem. Arisaka conversion
38/357. Smith 686
9x19 Luger. Browning HP
9x18 Mackrov. Mac

I don't dare shoot large centerfire anymore because it hurts my bony shoulder.
Carl,
If/when you ever decide to let go of the 7x57, 7mm Rem Mag or 6.5x55. Let me know. A 7 Rem Mag would be nice, but the 6.5x55 and 7x57 are sweethearts and the 7x57 in a FN Mauser action would be a hell of a package, even if the stock was junk. We picked up a sporterized Spanish Mauser in 7x57, a model 95 for my little brother and it's a dandy, but that cartridge in a model 98 style action would be the cat's meow.
