An 046 would be a fine addition, though if/when I buy my 390xp, my 372 may go down the road. I really like 70cc saws, but a ported 390 isn't appreciably bigger or heavier but the power difference has to be felt. Plus I use my 562 p times out of ten after it gets too big for the 50cc saws but less than about 25". Nice saw!

Yes just got her in but I've been suffering a migraine for a few goes and it just started lowering.

Same gentlemen who sold me the 046 is trying to talk me into his snellerized 385xp

That might be a worthwhile investment. I know a 395xp can be made stronger than a 390/385xp but it's also a good bit bigger and I already have a ported 9010, so the 395 would be just because. The a 385xp/390xp would see a lot more use at my place than another 95+ cc saw. Looks like that 046 could be fun in Oak, Hedge and any sizable Mesquite...

There's a "brand new" 395xp for sale locally for $800. Just don't have funds for it. I have a ms660 that is going to be my milling saw. Don't have trees to justify lugging it around. 046 is a great weight and it's fully ported.

I always wanted a 661/461 combo so the 660/046 is as close as I've got so far and I'm happy.

I am selling off some other saws but they are farm and ranch line.

I have 2 ported 2171's and a ported 2186, I do 85% of my cutting with the 71's, anything from 20"-28" bar. Only time I use the 86 is with the 36" bar on it. That's just my perspective. I got a 562 whenever Allen gets it done so my view my change some but I doubt it. Those 71's are enough lighter to me and are just as fast with a 24" or less bar on them than the 86

Oh... I doubt I will ever sell either one of the 71's I'm running now unless someone offered me a stupid amount of money for one of them
