But at least we narrowed it down to a coil or fly wheel.

I got a busted up Redmax 3100t today. Top and side handles will need replaced if the engine tests good. The piece of the center case where the top handle mounts is busted too. I wouldn't even entertain the thought of fixing a $200(new) saw but I'm a big fan of the Zenoah engines.

Do any of you know if it shared any parts with any other saw? I know the GZ4000 was relabled for at least 4 other brand names but I'm not familiar with the 3100t.
