Seems like I've read this before but don't remember the facts. Will an 026 cylinder fit on an 024? If I remember correctly, it will but with some modifications. I just don't remember the details.

Great swap you made. The 024 is what I use for most of my cutting. I thing the 024 Super and 026 are a direct fit. Same with the 034 Super and the 036. This doesn't include and apply to the 036 Pro and 026 Pro saws.

My 029 Super isn't so super after all. 120 psi cold and serious rod bearing play. Who makes ok aftermarket shortblocks and/or p&c for this one now? I don't see Farmertec making one. I do see Hyway and some even cheaper. Are the Nikisil plated cylinders worth the extra? Thanks guys.
