enough that right now I'm collecting up every tool I need to start learning to port I really really need to get a dremel and some carbide and hard grinding bits.

I have one with bad cranks bearings. It needs split and all that before you could port it.

I'll pm you I just got done building a saw from cases that won't be bad. Only part is I'll have to buy a splitter or make one. No issue there tho

I would never do that! That would be real inconsiderate! It's bad enough I used his numbers he gave me. We all know there's more than just grinding to numbers when porting! I'm still sending that other 2171 down to him anyway

Have any of you guys been around the husqvarna 570. I got one yesterday and it is scored but still runs and had around 120 pounds of compression. Is it worth fixing? I gave not read a lot of positives about the saw.
