Good Morning/Evening y'all. Still got a few hours to go before I go to bed. Looks like I go into work tonight around 2100... Another week of nights and then back to days again, then back to nights again for a bit... Gotta love violating my body clock left, right and sideways...

On a brighter note, I should have "Dad's" Masterminded 346 back later today courtesy of Fedex. It's about time to go clean out a lot of Yellow Wood. A friend has a recently acquired 550xp and I hope to give it a thorough workout soon to see how it ranks compared to the 346, 261, Dolmar 5100S and 026 pro as I'm familiar with all of them. There might be a 550 in the barn one of these days.

Now all I need to add to the arsenal is a S.S. Special Edition, a good dump truck, a dual tandem GN trailer and a F.E.L. or a skid steer and a grinder and I'm set for firewood. I am thinking real hard about getting a .404 bar for the 9010... I think it has the balls to pull it.

Morning folks. Not real sure why I'm up this early on a Saturday.

I have been up since 5. My tiredness caught up with me last night. Laid down about 9:15 and fell asleep with the lights on, woke up at 1, took a leak, turned the lights off and went back to sleep. It feels good to get a good night's rest.

Let the good times roll today everybody...

I started clearing johns west tree line yesterday..
Spent 5 hours dropping and limbing and topping some of the nastiest hedge trees I've ever messed with..
Only made about 100' of progress..

Back at it today.

Afternoon y'all. The youngest son and I spent the morning at the FIL's house repairing a set of steps on his deck that he fell through. One hour loading tools, 1/2 hour drive to his place, go get materials (in my truck), and three hours patching up the mess. My truck, my tools, my back and my time. Payment? Oh right, he bought lunch.

It was a decent lunch. Harrumph.

Soon heading out to get some scrap metal from a neighbor junking some old feed troughs. They were build with 12' runs of 1" angle iron and they're gonna get pushed off in a hollow if I don't get to them. Hate to see good material go to waste. A little labor will save me money for some future project.
