Standing at my workbench one evening last month a bug flew into my ear and proceeded to get stuck. I started slapping my ear but that only made him travel deeper into my ear canal. It was driving me nuts.
I ran into the house and had Blondie look if see could see it. By then it was against my eardrum and banging on it.[emoji37]

We jumped in the car and headed to the emergency room at the hospital. I pulled over twice as he was buzzing my eardrum. Then it felt like he got out. Continued to the hospital anyway just to make sure. We were sitting there waiting our turn when the bug commenced buzzing my ear again.[emoji21]

Suddenly it all stopped and a lady sitting near us said she saw the bug fly up toward the ceiling.

Waited and had the on call doctor take a look to make sure the bug was gone. Insect left behind some brown dust but had cleared out.

Brings reality to the expression 'bug in the ear'! Yikes!

Never had this happen before.

Was loading wood today. I had my bib overalls on and felt something go up my left pant leg and up my left leg. I tried smacking it but it went up my leg and across my balls. It moved to my right leg and I was slapping like crazy, then it quit for a second and I thought I got it. Not so fast, it took off down my right leg again and I started smacking so it turned around and ran back up my leg across the balls and down my left leg and I was beating like John Bonham. Bastid turned around at went back up the left leg, across the balls and down the right leg. This time I grabbed it with my left hand, somewhere around the right knee and started hammer fisting with my right fist like Fedor Emelianenko. Ran to the trailer took the boots off, threw the overalls on the ground and started looking...nothing. Turned them inside out and nothing. Got dressed and went back to load and there he was, a dead mouse. He couldn't handle the hammer fists.

Let me introduce you to my dead friend----nicknamed Nuts :)

At least it wasn't a rat. Father in law had rat run up his pants. From then on when cleaning grain bins they would wrap duct tape at the bottom of their pant legs.

Same old stuff Matt. Working on saws, and falling further behind.

I did have an enjoyable weekend though. We went to the livestock auction and bought a few calves.

How are things out your way?
Wet right now..
Corn done.
Early beans done.
Waiting on double crop beans then get some wheat in.
Then back to clearing fence rows..

I'd like to see a groundhog run up thomas' pant leg..
Now that would be epic.

SL-16 peed on the bench again.[emoji34]

Fuel seeps out by the bottom front starter screw.

Some 3M weatherstrip glue on the screw threads should do the trick.

Take note Steve P..

Yep. Already run into that on the little Wards/Remy. For right now I just dumped out the fuel and let it air out while I check the rest over. It needs another condenser. Has no spark. Popped the flywheel off and found it had been rubbing the condenser wire. Exposing it. Will an XL12 condenser fit? I probably have a few of those.
