Today
Rain, mainly after 9am. High near 44. South southeast wind 5 to 11 mph becoming north northwest in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 20 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New precipitation amounts between three quarters and one inch possible.
To Cold for Bull Froggin (IMHO)
The forecasters have been consistent for this rain about a week. Seems the country cars are coming to town MUDDY.
Guess I'll HIBERNATE for a while.

I saw a lot

Started out at 41f at 0430 and currently at 37f at 0700. Saying a high of 43f with rain starting at 1000. We need the moisture but would like to do some splitting this afternoon. Have a good day all.

Last Friday morning versus last night. Been a fun run on it. Glad things are better, I go stir crazy sitting too much.
When I was a Younger KIDD Guys at the Sawmill wouldn't have missed the chance to tell me how Cider was good for soaking more than sores.
Looks like you have a good healing remedy/poultice.
@Cat 525 Has an attitude about finger injuries when I whimper how inconvenient they are. I try to keep his blood pressure from dropping to low by slipping sore finger topics into the conversation. 'TIS fairly effective. :ambulance: 😜
P.S. a bit of sunshine popping out.
maybe we won't gett as much H2O as was forecasted.

A shot in the butt, horse pill antibotic, and soaking in warm water. Someone tried to tell me to soak it in kerosene. Passed on that idea.

Morning all, 43° to 54° on the schedule supposedly. Had puddles when I got home last night but didn't check for any amount. Put new lower control arm camber bolts on nephews truck and was busy with that. Only hit the sore finger with a hammer twice so I know it's getting a lot better.

Morning everyone, spent last week cutting fire wood before it got pushed into a pile and burnt. 4 of us cut 6 semi dump truck loads.
Just cut into rounds and loaded with track loader.

I made the worst chain I have ever made. I must have gotten carried away with the raker grinder. The cutters are sharp, but it was horrible to cut with; total trash. After a few minutes of fighting it I switched saws. Can't decide whether to trash it or try to fix it.

Just shorten the teeth to account for your ham handedness on the depth gauges…

Been there, done that.

That is the only option. Almost full cutters too. I don't know if I can get them short enough.

It's a 28 inch bar on a 461; maybe I can put it on my 260 and just use it for limbing...
