What lake today?

Stockton. Considered setting the boat up for pulling dipsy's for spoonbill on Grand, but decided to try to find where the crappie moved to on Stockton. Downriggers and snap weights today.

Staging in schools in deep water feeding right now. Spawning run will be starting in a month or so and almost all of those had eggs. If the wind were not as strong yesterday we could have sat on top of them and dropped jigs to them. Waves were big enough to pop the trolling motor out of the water at times.

I fish in the water normally. Trolling is a different story.

I understand that is prolly too cold to "fish in the water" this time of year. Canteen it afternoons in a couple of months maybe. lol

A few chances of snow over the next 10 days. News says not much accumulation so we will see.
Stopped by HyVee yesterday and about fell over on the price of boneless chicken (eggs). My mom picks them up from the Mennonites near my hometown. Most times they were laid within a day or two and not refrigerated yet. Plus, jumbo or larger and brown. Can't remember the price but way cheaper.

My cousin charges $3 a dozen, I usually trade him cigars for eggs.

I got tired of the egg prices.... went out and bought 10 new hens....got 7 eggs today.
At that rate, and current store prices for eggs they'll be paid for in a about mouth.

All our chickens were getting too old to do much egg makin, planning to pick up 32 chicks in later this week.

Spent a large part of Saturday in a lift trimming a couple dead limbs on one of my trees and taking down a tree for my neighbor. My neighbor and I were going to split the cost of the lift ($300). At the end of the day my neighbor gave me a check for $600!!!

And a note on Colorado news team that was trusted to know about and ride along on a collection of 100 or so venualaziun (bad spell) gangsters. MT apartments indicated the word got out. Got one of the persons they saught
