New Orleans is calling for 4”-8” of snow, those folks won’t know what the heck is going on.

I do have a place I can buy pure diesel. I don't know if that is an option for you; and I don't know if that makes a difference...

Blends, depending on how they are done, can cloud and gel faster than regular diesel. They make kits for my VW to convert to higher custom blends or filtered oils. Those are started and shutoff on diesel, have a smaller diesel tank that fits into spare tire spot. Main tank requires a heater to keep the fuel liquid.

I think I read somewhere that regular #2 diesel starts clouding at anywhere from 15*to 12*.

The winter blend I got at MFA before Christmas is still looking good. I opened up both tanks to take a peak, no clouding or wax on top.

Veggie/bio crap starts clouding at 32. Straight #2 about 15. #1 will not gel. No paraffin.

We rent a condo for a month with another couple at St. Pete’s Beach. We’re changing to a month later after this crap for the 2nd year in a row now. Right now it’s 40 and windy.
