Top of the day to you fellas. Foggy patches here this morning. Getting set up for a stormy March!
I can't wait to see that...Rainy here. Hopefully it moves out soon. I'm wanting to try out a new MS361 I built with an 044 carb.
Around here the splitter would need to have fenders and a trailer lic, IIRC. I got nailed for no fender while on the hyway, and the officer explained that if I had stayed on secondary roads it would have been OK. He further added that if needed to be on a highway to pass an obstacle( think bridge over water) I should have exited to back side roads ASAP.I have a question for you all. What are your thoughts on adding a hitch to the back of my 16' utility trailer so I could pull my splitter when the trailer is loaded? Is it a bad idea? Okay around town but not for the highway? Just plain stupid?
Is it even legal?
Oliver1655 used to pull his bucking trailer and his splitter that way. He didn’t seem to have any trouble with it. I’ve seen it a couple of times around here. Not real sure how steady it is. But then, I worry about those things.I have a question for you all. Depends on the state you live in. I don’t have to have plates on my splitter. They are considered a farm implement. Like a baler or hay rake. Fenders are always a good idea though. Mine has them. One fender has a seat on it for my wife to sit and operate the splitter. My splitter also has lights on it.Around here the splitter would need to have fenders and a trailer lic, IIRC. I came to the conclusion a few years back that if I am forced to work in all weather situations, then I will do what I enjoy in the same weather. I just find a way to work around it.Rainy here. Hopefully it moves out soon. I'm wanting to try out a new MS361 I built with an 044 carb.
You haven't seen rain before?I can't wait to see that...
My splitter has 45 mph axles-tire limit so betterment on side roadsI have a question for you all. I don't know..... but, I kinda like it after this last bit of soggy dreary weather.what is that strange ceiling fixture in the sky?
Tags not required here eitherHere in Tennessee we don't have to have tags on trailers unless we travel out of state, or use them commercially.
