Well, it’s official, I’m an old guy.

One of my 4y/o grand daughters was riding with me in the auger cart today, she turns and looks at me & says, “ You are going to be in heaven soon because you are old, I mean really really old .”

My son just called today & said he saw a custom built 35 Whelen at his local shop & is thinking he is wanting it.

Plenty of power & the kick to go with it but there shouldn’t be anything running off after it’s hit.

That's the guy we rebuilt that tornadoed barn for last year.
I'm amazed he survived, he's not in very good health and seems pretty fragile.....but I guess he's tougher than he looks.

Been raining for a while already and looks to be continuing for a bit longer. Be a good morning to sit in the recliner and drink coffee. I would except for a dentist appointment and the need to replace a bathroom sink today. Vacation week for me if you want to call it that. Annual Dr. trip for the wife tomorrow in KC as well. Going to have to hit McBee's on the way back for some brats.

Haven't ventured outside so far today. Got to drop the hay trailer so I can bring the hay cutter bar home on the flatbed from dads. He got it dropped the other day, bearing out on one end. I'll probably just work off trailer for ease of height. Another project to get going on this week.
