Don’t feel bad, Derek. I spent almost $100 on lures once. Caught lots of rock bass and tree bass. But no real bass. I can do a lot of things but fishing ain’t one of them. I’m a good fisherman watcher though.

Haskins Ford area? Looks like a good place for throwing curly tail grubs on 1/8oz jig heads. Three inch grub that is easy to change colors, just think the basic ones, white, yellow, burnt orange and brown, chartreuse and motor oil. You can just do simple retrieve or bounce them and jig them off the bottom. Alternately you can float a jig or earth worm under a cork/bobber down though the deeper holes of water as well.

Good morning folks. We are in for a mid-summer weather treat for the next few days. A nice cool down with overnight temps that will likely require open windows. Yea no A/C !
