@Hedgerow

Here are a couple of pulling tractors for you & Levi. They were meticulously maintained. Larry & his son built Shameless, it still has the original “M” bullgear in the rear end. I believe that engine was about 550 cubes.

I think the Minnie has about 480 cubes.

Intrinsic value is the deal. Millions ounces of silver used each year in wiring computers in automotive setups. Gold is used in other aspects but is used less for functionality mote for jewelry and such.
Money has no true values, them printed bits of cloth have lack of true worth
The printed bits of cloth seem to work for me. I will take all you don't want

Got the new water jug hooked up on the mill last night..
I think I’ll put a new band on and carve up a few sticks this weekend.
That will help things be more enjoyable.

I'm curious what the current lead time is on new mill orders.

Not sure..

I'll have to find out. But until then, I'm gonna focus on how to get more lumber out of these hedge logs.
1 band for 2 logs is a *s-wordty ratio..

Been looking at hydraulic log turning for a month now. Just can't do it with my mill sitting down on cement. I think my best option is the cart on the track with a 12 volt winch on top of the cart. Then push it out of the way when not turning logs. Or just use the A300 loader with remote control and a hook. I too like the LT70 but $$$$$. Also like Cooks AC-36. Still fun milling a 50 inch diameter log. Once it is set no moving till you get slabs cut. Just picked up some steel 1.5 x 2" rec bar to make new log stops.

The carbide "should" eat nails.. Rocks, not so much..

I guess they never really "dull", the tips just eventually get knocked off until you're missing so many, you have to replace them.

I just know that to get good boards out of Hedge, I need a fresh doublehard band.. And it don't stay "fresh" for long..
If you try carbide let us know how it works out.

In harder woods I'll run a blade just until it loses that really good cutting "new blade" behavior, then pull it off and put it in my "pine, sycamore, and cedar blade pile" to be put back on for more sawing in those woods since dull blades work pretty okay in soft woods.
