Mornin.
We "fished" last Sunday for awhile, still nothin for us guys.Allegedly, "when the redbuds bloom, the white bass are starting to move"..
Tony could probably either confirm or deny that..
We’re busy transferring female bass around to ponds we think need more fish.We "fished" last Sunday for awhile, still nothin for us guys.
Gotta hire a man with a boat to see if we can catch anything that way.
Tomorrow will tell. Friend has been catching some in Baxter. Hitting the Neosho river in the morning on some property he has permission to fish. We try to do breakfast on the bank just to have a good time. Pancakes, french toast, bacon, sausage, eggs and fresh coffee from a stove top perk pot. We did the same thing with spoonbill a couple years ago.Allegedly, "when the redbuds bloom, the white bass are starting to move"..

Vacation in one week. Pick Thursday the 4th or Friday the 5th and we will meet up. Got to entertain a friend a couple days and take the boy for hunter safety class on Wednesday night that week. Might be able to swing Saturday the 6th if we need to do that day instead. We "fished" last Sunday for awhile, still nothin for us guys.

How did you fix it?I’ve left one pond un-touched for a fish fry in April.
By the way, that spoonbill Levi got was outstanding...
Almost not fishy enough for me. But I could eat 2 pounds of it to a sitting.
Carl, ever seen one of these?

This box is a heavy, built to last box. Maybe from WW2 or Korea Era. Great for storing or displaying. Also, giving a Military Pouch with it.tulsa.craigslist.org

They had a waterproof fabric liner so one could wash his whole body or garments like a laundry tub.
Artillery ammo crates were the ‘construction lumber’ on a fire base.
Simple breakfast looks good to me. Very similar to my go to of a pair of eggs and some kind of tater/hashbrowns if a earlier in the day meal.View attachment 413017
Time to eat. Putting my pans to good use this morning.

I'm not available on the 6th, but could most likely make the 4th or 5th work out, let's see what the weather looks like as we get closer and pick the better day......I'm pretty much a fair weather sailor.
