I believe they are.Are spoon bills native?
You are correctI believe they are.
Yes, and as @Workshop mentioned, they are one of two paddlefish species that existed until recently. It is suspected that the three gorges dam project in China destroyed the habitat for the chinese paddlefish and it has been several years since one has been sighted. They were much larger than the american paddlefish but had a very similar appearance. I used to be able to find some pictures on the interwebs of them so I'll have a look for them again. Are spoon bills native?
The hot spot is below Bagnell dam on the Osage. In certain waters, yes.
Yep..The hot spot is below Bagnell dam on the Osage.
Circa 65-66 while fishing Lake of the Ozarks, we came across a spoonbill carcass. Obviously killed by boat strike. It was a good half as long as our 14’ boat.
That's two items of good news!had a good visit with semotony yesterday. he is doing well. he has misplaced his newer tablet he uses for the forum but has found his older lost tablet but having trouble logging in. having to update passwords. hope everyone is doing well. we just passed the 10 week mark and our baby to be is still doing well just a couple more weeks and the risk of a miscarry drops significantly. est due date is oct 14.

I remember the picture of everyone walking up the hill in a line with saws at Hosky's. It is not my picture. I think it is pre OPE. I am guessing 2015.Good morning all. I'm trying to put together some pictures for my little ones of chainsaw gtg's because they were just babies and don't remember them.
Anyway, this maybe a long shot. But I remember seeing a picture from a Iowa GTG where Alan, Me and the boys were all walking in a row carrying the big Mac's.
If anyone has that picture or knows how I can find it on here I would be grateful.
Thanks
Mrs.A
I went back and looked. I could not find it. I will try again. Some of the pictures are gone in those old threadsI remember the picture of everyone walking up the hill in a line with saws at Hosky's. It is not my picture. I think it is pre OPE. I am guessing 2015.
