Cured these pork shanks last week.
Put em on the smoker for about 6 hours.

I’m finally getting the hang of making steady smoke at less than 125 degrees..

Morning all, at 4:00am my 25# beagle was out squaring off with a raccoon & I found my 85# Lab curled up protecting the chow bowl...


Anyhow no sense in going back to bed, coffee is on.

I was walking my brother's little beagle once while there were some boxers in a neighbors front yard. She decided to bark at them. The boxers were obedience trained so they just gave her "the look". The neighbor and I got a good laugh from it. Those little dogs don't always know they're little.

It's been a nice afternoon today 63f at it's peak however the Tuesday overnite is expected to git into the mid single digits. This yo-yo of temps sure is a bit interesting for sure.

Hard to believe, but the frost just left the driveway along that fence row we’ve been clearing.
Ethan pulled up a chunk of frozen *s-word when he was smoothing stuff out Saturday.

That cold spell was brutal and zero ground cover for a big part of it.
