Awesome! That's some beautiful grain! Wish I had the $ and space to do this. I have the saws to do a chainsaw mill but nowhere to do it. Good morning y'all.

Nebraska legislators had a bill this year to stay on DST year around but it failed, due to them saying we are use to it and just need to grow up.

The best thing I have ever done in my life, is to focus on time, as little as possible.

The biggest thing a person can do to start this is, work for ourselves.

I wake up when I'm ready to, eat when I'm hungry and go to bed when I'm tired.

Time, is the biggest slave master there is. In my opinion.

I couldn't agree more. I pay very little attention to times and dates. Dr and vet give me reminder calls the day before. Otherwise, I don't need to pay attention to time.

I'm always off on dates, and days, most of the time. I've had people say, "How do you never know the day, or date, when it's right on your phone?" Well, it's easy, I don't focus on it. Just like I don't focus on the date, in the bottom right of my PC either. It's a mindset and one I've come to appreciate and enjoy.

And, it's not for everyone, that's for sure, and I realize that. Some people need that "structure", in order to operate, or they get all out of sorts.

I guess the point of my original comment was, I find it interesting people look to the Gov. to tell them what time they have to use.

From what I gather, just from what you post, you probably understand where I'm coming from, as much as a person can understand.

Your day to day, is probably laid out by tasks, not hours.

My tasks don't care if it's Wednesday at 8 am., or Friday at 6 pm, or Sunday at noon.

Yeah, when I had to go on disability, not having structure was really stressful. I've adjusted for the most part. I also find that not having tv is a real stress reliever. People let themselves get so stressed by the media. I don't bury my head in the sand and totally ignore the bad stuff but I don't need to see it every day.

In the ponds, I use a plastic worm and only twitch it every few seconds.
Just watch the line for movement.

As I said in one of my posts "it's not for everyone, and I realize that".

Communication is key.

Before I even take a job, we are clear on what's what, and if we can't agree on terms, they are more than welcome, to not be my customer.

If you're doing something you don't want to do, change it.

I take care of all my responsibilities, plus others' responsibilities, and still do what I want.

I made a choice and I made it happen.

I refused to wait until I was "old", to be in control of my time.

To each their own. If what you do is working for you, power to ya.
