Front trail cam picked this up today. Just a cat? Or a bobcat? Face looks long for a house cat but I’ve caught a few house cat pictures recently plus a new dog in the vicinity. Wondering if somebody has moved into the house out by the highway.

Just looks like a pussycat to me.

Kids are doing alright, wife not so much. But she now at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester for a week of tests to figure out what's going on.

Sending prayers to Mrs. @Dub11 , Wayne. Hope she gets through whatever it is.

Good morning folks. I know it's Wednesday, and I'm one thinking it's Tuesday, so happy humpday anyway.
Weather is going to be getting a bit more like expected here, it's 32f now and starting to drop during the day and
to 15f by sunrise tomorrow. Well at least in a couple of days the ice will likely be safe for walking on again.

Cut a bit of a cedar order yesterday morning.




Got almost half way on the 1x6s.....


Then something electrical quit on the mill, so now I get try to locate the problem.....

Its was about 20* & foggy @ 7:00this morning. Visibility anywhere from 50yards to 400yards. It was an interesting ride to the ethanol plant, its starting to try & clear a bit.

The number of idiots that drive around with no headlights/taillights in fog never ceases to amaze me. Automatic headlights have their place but in fog isn‘t one of them since there always seems to be enough ambient light to keep the sensor from activating them & people are either too lazy or too stupid to to flip the switch to the full time on position.

Turns out the 2 month old Walmart battery on the mill is shot.... so, I bought one at the local hardware store and I'm back in business.


Bucked up some actually nice logs today.






Nother load of cedar was dropped off.

Seems like it would be hard to keep track of who's is who's. You must have a system. Always enjoy seeing your operation.

It's all in my head.....mostly....

Some times I'll paint the ends or put the customers initials on em if I suspect I might forget to whom they belong.

Mornin, its a was a pleasant 27* @ 5:30 according to the truck. It’s supposed to be a pleasant 32* today with no fog.

Weather guessers are already barking about a system thats supposed to be here next Monday.

26F here heading to 34f for the high. Work has me on an outdoor camera job again today and Monday, as other work is lined up for tomorrow. Monday may be a wash for us as well with the same storm predicted.
