Sounds like the needle and seat are shot.Question for all the saw mechanics out there..
Saw starts and gushes fuel from both jets..
Full throttle with both high and low screws turned all the way in still gagging with fuel.
Possible causes??
This should be fun..
It acts like it’s just flat stuck open...Sounds like the needle and seat are shot.
It acts like it’s just flat stuck open...
I fogged the whole shop.. had to leave the blue haze was so thick..
I didn’t realize a carb could burp that much fuel even with the high and low circuit closed off.
And it's been 80° here the last few days.....what about fall? I want a refund....It looks like the season is a changing, the weather dweebs are clucking about snow flurries here Sat. night & Sunday…

Has to be..The metering level is probably set very high and the needle is getting held open.
Has to be..
Although it managed to do it on it's own. Since my neighbor used it all last year with no issues.
Still amazed that much fuel can get by those high and low screws.. It's an impressive amount.
New parts inbound.
