One of our camping neighbors, about 10 people, came over last night and asked if we would care to join them.



In a drinking contest.





We politely declined.

I knew you couldn't handle iced tea.

Hell, with people ruining decent original finishes on old vehicles in order to "make" rat rods it's about sad. If the vehicle was already toast, then I understand. When it was still half-way nice, it's enough to make a person sick.

About half of them are teenagers. The adults get drunk, the teenagers are corralling them and keeping order.
Overheard one say, " Mom!! You can't pee in the weeds, use the restroom".
Another, "Dad, tone it down!!!".

What I actually could use is a big fellow to run the pole saw and a couple groundies to carry away the limbs while I supervise from a lawn chair.[emoji108]

Enough to feed a spider.
But she was jumping up and down excited.

Possibly a sculpin? They are common in spring brach streams.

Brown trout like them.

I usually cheat and hook it to the tractor..

I need to go to Southern Mo or back to Colorado (with my fishing gear) and go chase some Brookies, Speckleds, Rainbows, Browns and Cut Throats. Lord I love trout!

Around here, we'd use trout for bait..
I like to eat em, but when there's big cats and bass I'd have to use em to get something substantial..

I think if I had a trout stream in front of me, they'd just have to move the hell over, cause I'm goin in and soaking.

'Lake' Taneycomo is a misnomer. It is actually the White river below Table Rock dam. Flow rate and level varies with electricity demand in St. Louis and KC.
If you are wade fishing early in the morning and you hear the horn blow you best get to higher ground.

Especially us shorter fellows.[emoji15]

That field ain't done yet.
The first field Dennis got started early and went 178 bu- acre / 18% moisture.
But the guys at top notch were buying it cause they had their dryers going anyway.
Only charged 10 cent a bushel to dry it..
