Picked up some kohler engines yesterday. Gonna use the 23hp for my pressure washer. I’ll have a good 28hp efi if anyone needs one. And I’m gonna rebuild the 25hp to sell also. These motors over 20hp are getting hard to find down here.
I have Kohler Command 23hp's in my Grasshopper and my Ariens mowers. They have both mowed a ton of grass. I have even mowed an acre of weeds over 5 ft tall with the Ariens a couple of times. Crazy they have both held up for 17 and 21 years.

I might be interested in the 25 or 28 as a backup motor for my mill.
Do they have a rear shaft as well as the front?
They have shafts out front and back. I’ll have the measure the size of the 28. It’s Prlly around 1”. I’m gonna cut the shaft off the front of the 23 so it isn’t hanging out front on my pressure washer.

I may be in the market for a spare Kohler when you get done running through them.

All those units should have a 1" shaft IIRC..

You should be able to cut concrete with that sized motor on a pressure washer; definitely peel the paint off a car!!!

And straight!!!

Oh, to have straight trees...

Some day I’ll find some..
Yeah I'm kinda partial to straight logs myself......

I've got the mill out on a job right now sawing some of the most crooked garbage imaginable...
I tell customers that crooked logs make crooked boards.... but I guess that's just beyond the comprehension of some folks.
Oh well, I'm working by the hour so it doesn't matter to me....

That’s the idea. I want it to be able to wash grease off equipment easily. Should b 3.5-4gpm @3500 psi and 180-212* once I get this new motor on.

When I was in high school we had a kid that worked in the bus barn part time, he washed/peeled the black stripes & letters off the sides of a couple school buses while washing them before the maintenance guy saw it & shut him down. The kid wasn’t the sharpest knife in the drawer.

Dad’s hotsy will take off the grease, I think it gets to about 3200psi & around 180*.

Rotating heads seem to do a pretty good job, 15* nozzles work well also.

Well if that’s the case the lumber will be just like that which comes from Home Depot and Lowe’s

Here's what's just been installed in my left wrist area. Surgery isn't till Friday, hope I don't jar it loose lol. About a foot, of 3 foot long, lower colon is coming out due to cancer. Results still are in our Creator's mind. I'm glad for that20230426_150336.jpg

My life isn't really my business
I found my best choices not beneficial. As I admit my errors and seek guidance this life improves.
I'm gently influenced in ways I don't know of til after the fact. Then my gratitude increases
Praying right now.

I am praying for you Tony.
I appreciate the prayers20230426_171015.jpglast solid food til Friday eve or after
