Sounds like about Sunday we won't be fighting mud for a few days!
40* a high temp here today, then we freeze up overnight & look to be in the single digits overnight & teens in the daytime for at least a week.

Good thing about today is the snow is disappearing quickly.

The mud/chit/slopnin Chase’s heifer lot was so deep I had to use the forks to push myself out backwards & ultimately ripped a front wheel fender off his 6110 while haying today.

Every time I pick up a Glock at the gun shop, I put it right back.....can't stand them awful things.
Honestly, I don’t like many semi autos at all..

Only one that even comes close to fitting my hand is the full size 1911, and even it falls short..

I like wheel guns.

@Workshop do they use local contractor for repair or bring in their own
crew?

Hopefully they we give you an estimate next week of duration for repair so you have an idea of when you can return home.
This guy is from Mt Vernon. Just down I44 from here.

Yeah, I'm a single action wheel gun guy for the most part...... I really like the old school stuff.

The semi autos are too hard on ammo.....

I bought my Beretta based on my daughter’s advice.
She trained on one in boot camp and the fact that it holds 17 rounds.
The Beretta is a pretty good tool as far as autos go.... it's my preferred auto.... kinda bulky but easy to shoot pretty well.

My son is in a cowboy action league or some such thing up were he is at. He just likes shooters in general, he has several semi autos & revolvers.

I like my FNX & Walther. I am trying to get my son to sell me his 1911 but I am thinking that’s not going to happen so I will have to go to the local establishment & get one.

Cowboy action looks like a lot of fun.

I had a Walther PPQ Q5 match pistol.... that was very nice for a semi auto, and was a breeze to shoot well.
