I found something called the Piltz modification from several years ago. It looks like a 7 tooth rim sprocket conversion with PS chain and a Cannon bar up to 28"! I can't imagine a bar that long on a 43ccsaw.

If the bar is .050 lopro it might pull okay. I wood like to have a 50cc saw to mill red cedar with that. My 046 pulls a 30" loop way to easy with that size cutters. 20 to 24" wood be better on a smaller PH. I don't run into large diameter cedar.

Did use a 5 foot bar on a maple that had a crotch that was that distance. Ported 661 broke in on one of the early cuts up that log. 3/8 .063 square chisel there, Beautemous it was to hear the exhaust song change with chips flying further out the far side
