We have around 1” so far , according to the KC NWS office we are in for “2”-4”, Omaha is 1”-2” & Des Moines is less than 1”. Unfortunately we are in the Des Moines office coverage area but Omaha & KC provide better forecast. Omaha provides the best severe weather coverage.

I used to freehand rip old growth logs with a 3120 running a 60" cannon bar.
Had to make em small enough to fit on the Woodmizer......

They're too unweildy for much else IMO.

Was that 3120 ported, or stock?

I didn't even know people were modding saws back then.

They are very unweildly..... but I used to cut trails through brush with a 3120 with a 36" bar..... when I was younger and dumber.....

It looks like we have had 3”-4” of snow.

Clean up of the house will start in earnest tomorrow with the initial phase of removing all textiles and electronics for cleaning and storage. What remains behind we will go through and determine a value to it and stuff we don’t want to discard. The rest will be discarded and the house cleaned up. Then the demolition crew will come in to come up with a plan to repair the house. At the soonest that will be late next week. At least that’s how I’m interpreting the process.

We ended up with just under 7". I'm going to head over to my Uncle's and clean his driveway off for him and try out his fancy new snowblower he got last year. I've never ran one before, but I might take the easy way out and walk it down to my place and finish my driveway too. Lol
