I was operating this remote controlled Wacker yesterday until it quit driving all four wheels. Got stuck in the stuff we were using to fill in the basement of Daughters old house.

I had one of those chippers once
Too Much work for the amount of mulch you would get
Bobcat, grapple and burn pile is better

We use it for animal bedding, which in turn goes into the compost mountain, and from there to attempt to cover some of the rocks around here so something other than cedar will grow... namely grass.

We do burn most of the cedar because it doesn't decompose worth a dang, and it's not good for the dirt anyways.

Whacker is a brand name that makes vibratory soil compactors.
It is the green machine in the picture.
They also make plate compactors.

It’s a cool rig. Articulated, 2 vibration modes, Diesel engine. It’s like a big, slow, RCcar. Park it on a large rock and it’ll drive it down in the dirt usually. Son in Law has lots of machines that I can play with, but this one was a rental unit.

Thanks, it's a Massey Ferguson 35 gas.
On the chipper being too much work... I mostly agree, but I have a 14 year old boy that's got waaaayyyyy to much energy/hormones..... so extra work is not a problem here....lol
