Stacking is my least favorite part of firewooding. And I swear some fellas have to be out there with levels and string lines. They look nice, don't get me wrong, but I'm not that guy. I'm very much a function over form guy. As long as the stacks stay upright and don't fall over, I'm good.
20221116_154940.jpgpre split stack got started on an unneeded angle, so curving it back into better line.

@Only the Tony
Pecan, Dutch Apple, Coconut cream, Sour Cream Raisin, Banana Cream,
Strawberry Rhubarb.....etc, etc

Currently unable to work.

26SEP I had LTKR, then 10NOV had RTKR.
It's going to be a while before I am workable.

@hoskvarna
Prayers for all.

Boy your gonna be new at that pace! How are you recovering so far? I’ve got a Vietnam vet friend that has had both knees replaced 3 diff times. He stepped on a mine in nam. After his last double knee replacement he was getting around as good as me during dove season a few years ago. Hope you recover quickly.

Been working on this project lately. Had been in the fence row with a bad engine for 8+ years. Swapped the engine, rebuilt the pump and the burner and surprisingly she’s working well. This is a 16hp motor I’ll be looking for a 20 or so though. Needs more hp.

Also got to split some wood this evening for a bit. Found a little hedge in the pile.

I hadn’t used the splitter in several years it had been at dads. I figured out why it was soo loud lol. Think she’s gonna need a new muffler.

Anyone got a good recipe for venison burgers on the grill??
I don’t really want to add bread crumbs to get em to hold together for flipping...

And I got about 60 pounds of it with no beef fat added out in the shop. Always wanted to try a 100% venison burger.
May taste like *s-word, ya never know.

Nope, but if you bring me 20-30 lbs I'll do some research /testing for ya.....

Actually when I was a kid we ate straight venison burger, it's pretty much like eating sawdust...

We got Dad a Hotsy for Christmas several years ago, it runs off of 220 volt & has the diesel burner. It sure doesn’t lack for power or heating capability. It will take your hide right off, it’s definitely not a one hand on the wand operation.

We set it up with 100’ of hose & a 50’ cord
