Mines in a pile

Sent from the Hoskey Hill country

I'm not overly picky about lengths I cut, is my biggest thing. One stove is happy with 16" lengths and the other can take up to 24". So I have some wiggle room and just kinda cut to whatever length each piece of wood I'm bucking works out best with.........if that makes sense.

Funny you said you just have yours in a pile, because I started doing that this fall, with stuff I'm going to be burning this winter. Didn't make much sense spending a bunch of time stacking, if I'm just going to use it in the next few months. So into a pile it goes.

Wet stuff, that needs seasoned, I'll keep stacking.

I like stacking wood..... always have.
I'm no perfectionist, but I do like nice looking stacks of firewood.
I've seen some people's perfect stacks and wonder how in the world a person can get firewood to be so dang perfect...

A nicely stacked pile. haha
Out front, on MODOT'S side of the property line, the gonna be split later stack curls around a bit. Nicely stacked couple o cord in front of double wide. Piles further east, some shorties for a wb heater was gonna be in shed, near the splitter stacks started on pallets and tossed piles.
Organizational skills not consistent

I’m still up as well. Working on business emails and billing when I get slowed down in the evenings. I know you don’t know many of us yet but most of us in this group consider each other extended family. So I extend that same sentiment towards you. If you need anything just holler. We are here for you as a whole.

Thank you

All joking aside. If I had a serious need, I have no doubt Kyle (moparnut), and others here, would move heaven and earth to help me, if there were any way possible.
