They are guessing at 1”-2” here over night tonight. That should put the brakes on corn harvest for a day or so.

It's trying to snow. Very, very light flurries at the moment. We have yet to get anything this year yet, other than this. It's also been a bit since we got any moisture that amounted to anything. So I was hoping.

We're pretty well finished with harvest out here.

Evening everybody.
A friend called and asked if we'd like to help save some nice cedars from the burn pile....
We got about one semi load this afternoon, as well as a few cords worth of oak, ash, and hickory.......and a few small elms.

Ok the best price I can get it for is $75 I may not want to mess with it but I'm still debating with myself

Well, one way to look at it is, even though it may be a touch more than you want to pay, the experience you gain from fixing it, will be worth more than the fixed up saw.

Go ahead and treat yourself Bryan.

I agree. While I’m just a cheapskate at heart, I have been known to pay more for a saw (or a Coleman lantern) than what my inner self was comfortable with.
This saw will make a nice one even in stock condition. Keep in mind that you’re going to put at least crank bearings and seals plus a whole new top end. (Cylinder jug, piston, rings, circlips).
But it will be a great learning experience and teach you a great deal.
And always remember this.
It’s just a saw, not the Space Shuttle. It’s just not that complicated.
:)
