What engine/trans in the Kenworth?
What year?

I bought a pair of these in January. This is a 76 w900a. Has a 6v92t has an Allison 750drd 5spd over drive with lockup. Factory ac, and has antilock brakes as well. Also has the odd KW torsion bar rear suspension. Has 196k actual miles. Guy I bought them from moved houses with them. The other truck is a 78 heavy haul KW. Has a small cam 400 Cummins and a 10spd with a 4spd aux trans. It’s still my favorite but it is super low geared. Has 5.29 rears. I’ll get a pic of it tomorrow.

Can these due to age be licensed in Missouri as an Antique or Classic?

And save licensing cost over the price of a conventional working semi-tractor?

Evening everybody. Made it to the stamp a little bit ago. Just before it cut loose raining. We’ll see if we can stay the whole weekend this time.
Dang job, anyway. Less than 2 years to retirement.
Unless I tell them to stuff it.
:)

Evening fellas. Been busy around here. Got my end dump trailer picked up today. Gotta do a little tlc but she’s in pretty good shape.

Picked up a Kuhn disc mower for hay this morning

Then bought a 30ton Lorain crane to do a couple jobs with yesterday. Gonna go pick it up next week. I’ll be on the look out for 250’ er so if cable for it. It’s got some on it but could use a little more for the full stick length. Got an 81’ reach on boom plus another 50’ on jib.

There are only 2 types of end dumps: those that have been tipped over & those that haven’t been tipped over yet…

I’m sure but Prlly can’t work it then. I’ve got it tagged as farm right now. Isn’t too bad.

Your not wrong. I didn’t want one this long but the price was right. A lot of guys around here went from end dumps to dump trucks. But here recently I’ve noticed a lot of new but short end dumps replacing the dump trucks again. Prlly 26-30’ er so beds.

Yep, getting pretty sporty outside right now.
These old aluminum campers can get pretty noisy inside in a downpour.
Need anything tractored over there?
If we don't blow away or drown tonight, I'm planning to take my Kubota over to my sister's place in Isabella tomorrow to do some driveway work.....
I'll have the bucket and log grapple.

It’s still raining here, I will venture out & check the gauge after a bit.

The guessers are saying maybe up to 1” of snow this morning but it stay around with all the rain & upper 30’s temps.
