Center pivot irrigation system needs its gear boxes checked and tires inflated.

No cool air here. Were heading for 100 F today. College baseball players are going to bake in this heat. Yesterday I sweated off 4 lb working outside, got a little dizzy, and called it quits.

Ain’t much hotter than standing in 7 ft tall weeds in a waterway, wrenching on gearboxes..

Sweat factor was a 10. Hope a little sweat mixed in with the gear oil is ok.. it wasn’t salty for long.

And whoever thought it was a good idea to put plastic threaded plugs in a cast iron gear case, needs a beating.

In my hillbilly cool pool in the time before 1 pm is best. After 4 the sun isn't on the upstream water as much. Even in between it's improvement over standing in the sun.
