Of greatest concern is this ‘repair’.

Don’t know if it covers actual damage or a leaky seam on the oil tank.

What does leak is the tank vent at the bar mount. [emoji57]

Runs, oils and cuts fine. [emoji106]

Even though it is a rotten day we gave it ‘The Dip’.

Now I can see in there the boot and impulse are in good shape.

Well Carl, I have to make a run to Des Moines today but with Mama’s work schedule, appt. times & travel time I couldn’t work out a time to meet that fella in Runnels. If anything changes I will let you know. I tried to get you hooked up.

One 20 some hour odd period showed over 21/2 " on the guage, with last night almost 4 inches those 2 guage readings. The sunny period was short, mostly cloudy. Had a flood about 5 years ago that peaked (the guessers claimed) around 3 a.m. At 8 there was stihl a foot of water over the high spots on my lil 5 1/3 acres.
The 21/2" reading had the creek more than 2 feet higher than in pic ^^^^^^above

Holy smokes..........that'd be enough to get our creeks to actually run water. Lol Every several years we get a creek clearing rain for a couple days, but not very often. Selfishly, I'm kinda glad, because I'm the guy who's soaked head to toe in sweat anytime the humidity is 50% or more and it's over 70. As long as we get enough rain for crops and to grow the pastures for cattle, I'm good. Lol

I don't know how much rain we got, but we got a lot...
52°this morn, Lotta rain in less than 8 hours.May be 21/2" now since it hasn't slowed down20220505_082437.jpg
Creek prolly running hard, may get a pic of it if this rainfall slows or stops. This puts total rain over 9 " in last 8 days!

We got a total of 1.60 here. Sure helped. Wheat trying to head about boot high. Not good.
Dry, cold spring took it's toll on yield potential for sure..
But as long as the heads are decent and quality high, the price should make up the difference..
