Wait a minute, you will eat a runny egg but won’t eat a battered deep fat fried mountain oyster ???

As long as they are cleaned & prepared properly they are great, now one that hasn’t been cleaned would definitely turn most people off.

I could eat them till I was sick

Good morning!
Replaced a 60 year old joist on the deck that had a rotted edge in one spot. I think that the old one is still probably stronger with the rot than it's replacement.[emoji2955] Quite a difference in growth ring spacing. Also, the replacement was full of knots versus the old one that has one small knot in a 20 foot length.

That old lumber is way better. Wish we could still get boards like that. This new stuff you can dang near cut with your fingernail. Can’t even nick that ole board.

After doing a bit of target practice with my son & grandson a couple weeks ago. I told Max he needed to buy David a Cricket, he was reluctant as he thought he would outgrow it too fast, I told him it would help him with hand placement & handling having a proper sized weapon. So last weekend Max bought David a Cricket, he was a pretty happy youngster. He wanted to go to the indoor range to try it out straight away. Later he was helping/learning how to reload.

Afternoon everybody.
With the new job it seems noonish is the time frame I have to get on here now.
Right now I have 1 employee and he called me at 6:30 this morning. His truck, only vehicle he owns, was stolen. I told him to call the police and get it reported and to let me know when he had. I then went to work and made a couple of calls regarding this. His work keys, that are numerous, and his access badge were in the truck also. Then I headed to pick him up and bring him to work. When it was time to get off work I told him we'd go check a couple of places that his truck could've been ditched at.
No luck. Then I took him to my house, backed my car out onto the drive and said he could use it for a couple of weeks. I also told him if it got STOLEN or in an ACCIDENT that he was paying for the car and I'd see him at work in the morning.

Mornin Steve, you're earlier today. Hope that helper of yours is worth the effort. I've heard that finding a replacement that works is like that Ruger a few years ago, Millennial it was called IIRC. No sales after a very few reports that "it won't work and it can't be fired"
