Good afternoon y'all. Do any of you know if there's a 16 or 18" Picco bar that'll fit a 024. The 241 had it but I don't know if that saw ever reached the States

The 241 was sold in the US but they are hard to find. I just bought one locally for a fella in Michigan, so I would imagine that you should be able to find one for your 024.

Been clearing an old fence row (barbed wire gone but still in the trees) for a guy. We have about half of it done. The half that is done had one tree (hackberry) left on the very end. We have not taken it down because it is near (hanging over) a good fence. The land owner was clear on not wanting it to fall on his fence. Been waiting on the land owner to help us pull it over; he has a 100 hp Case tractor. Today was the day. He gets a little gungho, which worries me. I do not trust very many people when it comes to dropping trees, and he is no sawyer for sure. We talked about how I wanted to do it since my ass is under the tree.

We got a chain on it and I told him to get in the tractor and put a little tension on the tree, then get out of the tractor and come watch me until I tell him to get back in the tractor. I put the face cut in. I go to the back of the tree and start to do the back cut. I get a few inches in the back cut and he stops me. He says, "Aren't you going to start up here (about 18" above the back cut) and angle it down?":facepalm::facepalm: I tell him "heck no and stand back!". Anyhow, I continued the back cut and put 3 wedges in the tree. It was at that point I told him to get back in the tractor and pull forward slowly on my signal. I continued, and as soon as I got close to the hinge I gave him the signal. When we were done he said, "You make that look easy!" It helps when you have a 100hp tractor, I need one, lol.

Morning midlanders! Turned cold.[emoji90]

Test & tune done on the 201t #2 for Hunters Lawn Care.

Now we get paid. [emoji1696]

201t are some easier than 200t to tinker on. Mostly due to the intake boot being bolted on. [emoji106]

‘Secondhand Lions’, Duval and Crane were a hoot.

Winchester model 12. They were no dummies. [emoji1696]

We lost my wonderful MIL last night, age 100 plus. A favorite memory is when she made this “sponge cake” for a friend’s birthday party. She was 92 and the cake was real sponge! She couldn’t bear watching him trying to cut it politely and had to leave the room to laugh!
