Sorry to hear this.My folks place didn’t fare as well, a utility trailer got relocated into the box side of dads pickup, a sliding barn door was relocated into one of his machine sheds, the doors blew off both ends of their other machine shed & had 4 grain bin lids removed. A mile from their place another shed they use was relocated across the road into the neighbors yard & onto his pickup & trailer.
My friend, who runs a tree service, called and asked if he could borrow my 3120 w/ 50" bar. I said sure. He brought it back a couple days later with a quart of trufuel 40:1, brand new Stihl chain, and a check for $200. Only needed it to do 1 stump; his 880 is in the shop. I would have loaned it to him for free but I ain't complaining either.
@huskihl, he said it cut like a dream, by the way; no doubt considering his 880 is non-ported...
You have a 3120 ?
Aren’t any half arsed tiny cookies when Grandpa is doing the baking.

Not these, nice golden brown bottoms, still just a bit soft in the middle. All the kids & grandkids like chewy cookies.Iffin it’s like the ones I bake, you are going to need a table knife to scrape off the black bottom.

Had to just to cut a big tree.. the 660 couldn’t do it.
Soak ‘em in your coffee to soften them up?
That 290 & 9speed will be durable, cab over gives you a very short turn radius & nice in tight confines. I was just never a fan of climbing in/out of them. It’s a different experience piloting one down the road the first time.Went and looked at a 78 international transtar 2 4070b. Has a 290 Cummins and 9spd. Been setting a min but appears pretty solid. Will need a lot of cleaning and love but I can get it for a good deal on a trade. Anyone have any thoughts on these old cab overs?

That’s what I keep hearing as well. I was wanting a big cam 400 and a 13spd but haven’t found the right deal on that. Heaviest thing I’ll haul would be 50k. This should haul it ok.
