I had an oak tree in full canopy just up and die this summer..

Of course it had 3 big fat steers stomping around the base of it...

Where are you going to drop it? Remove the fence and drop it to the West?

It's most likely hollow..

Hollow trees are such a nuisance to walk around with a little bar and chain that reaches the hole.Matching the finish of the cut to the height and angle of the beginning wood be troublesome IMHO

I keep my feet on the ground unless I am in a recliner or on the couch, lol. Climbing is not for me.
