I had a cushier ride than usual to Tennessee this time.
Funny thing is that it's $20K less than the Silverado High Country that I took down last time.

The irony..

Did you enjoy the German mastery of farfehgnuggen?

Did it come with the pamphlet “How to drive like a jackass”?

Many German cars do I believe. [emoji19]

One semi passing another going up a long hill precipitates a lot of bobbing and weaving in the left lane camper group.

Standouts in that crowd are the VW Jetta drivers.

OTOH, I’ve never come across a Prius in the driving lane under 70 mph. Them fellas are just so green they get dispensation from MHP.

Good morning!
I had a 1/2 hr. to waste before an inspection appointment so I dropped in to a junk store in the town that I was in. I asked the guy running it if he had any chainsaw stuff and he said "nope". I decided to do a quick walk through and left with 33 oil cans.

We had about a 1/4” rain yesterday afternoon & last night, it brought the few early bird planters to a halt, calling for rain/snow Monday night with lows around 30* Monday night & 25* Tuesday night. The fellas that got nervous & antsy watching others plant will be running around like dogs chitting razor blades after next weeks cold wet weather. Next week isn’t looking promising either.

Apparently that fella didn’t know what he had, that’s rare for that type of store owner to not know. Better ask @heimannm if he has any of that canned oil in his museum up there.

Driving a grain truck, you should be familiar with the left lane crowd.
I spend my share of time in the Monfort Lane Carl, usually passing the company rigs governed out at 65-68mph because inevitably two of those chuckleheads will be driving side by side for 2-3 miles backing traffic up for 1/2 mile then I am destined to follow them until all the four wheelers get by & a window develops.

On I-29 I pay more attention to the license plates, Texas & Nebraska are the main speed demons, move over to I-35 from KC north it’s Minnesota & Wisconsin that are hauling arse.

That’s 12” of usable bar hanging out there. Must be a climber’s saw. [emoji848]

No spark. I hope it has a Wico magneto.

I’ve always avoided David Bradley’s but the owner is a fellow Nam vet.
