Mama showed up @ 6:45pm with the 2 oldest girls & 3 granddaughters, 2@6months & 1@5 months. Bedtime is 7:00 none of them go down easily. HOLY CHIT!! None of them sleep thru the night either including mama. I’ve told mama numerous times that one kid & their kids at a time is plenty But...

8-10 gallon of diesel = $20
My semi sitting in the drive = Priceless !!!

36” bar not real nimble, but after 3 tanks, I got it loaded and didn’t have to puke a band on the dirty *b-word..

Oh, I worked the guts out of that thing yesterday...

It’s in the vise right now..

Was gonna sharpen it last night, but I got distracted by a glass of whiskey and a card game with the kids..
What kind of whiskey did the kids have

Sam and I finished up a job yesterday. A guy had that huge oak blown down and a couple of big pecan trees. All he wanted us to do was limb and buck all the wood to firewood length, and leave it laying. Some of the pecan had already been processed, but still a lot to be done. He paid us $20/hr, not enough in my book, but that is the price I agreed on and I did it for Sam anyway. Anyhow, Sam made $275 for dragging limbs, marking cuts, turning logs, gassing saws, running to the truck, hammering wedges, etc. We had a 4-wheeler to go back and forth to the truck about 1/2 mile away.

Got 64 2x6x12’ boards for the neighbor, and still have 2 beams of 6x24x12’ left for the next project.
I think Ethan needs some planks for the low boy he just picked up.

Working one rebuilding a 390 for a guy. Felt like bearing problems. Was the big end of the rod. And allowed the pin to walk and get into the case. Is this a real common problem? Getting new crank and bearing and seals. Should be back together today.
