Nailed it!!
:aaaaa::aaaaa::aaaaa:

While, technically, I'm not really a part of the "Hippy" generation (I was in the 6th grade in 1968) I was somewhat influenced by it.
Not by drugs, though.
I understand locker rearends. I've just never heard them named after a hallucenagenic drug before. Perhaps I need to update to modern terminology. But then, I come from the time of knobs and levers.

I miss knobs and levers.
:)
And actual gages that show oil pressure fo0r example, and charging voltage

Ummm,
I need to put my 2wd rigs on LSD?
Won't that make them hard to drive?
Positive vibes baby.

My 94 chevy 1 ton has a 10 bolt rear in it (with limited slip).
A few years ago it was giving some issue with catching while turning on pavemen.
I was grossing around 18k and took a turn onto an on ramp, and it popped and locked up. I was able to go in reverse and it broke free.
It made some ugly noises but I managed to get it home without a tow.
The carrier was broke entirely in half.
My brother came and set up a new carrier, ring, and pinion in my driveway and it has never given any trouble since. No noise either.
Mayhaps a 14 bolt? Cuz a 10 bolt would *s-word it self at 1800 pounds lol.

Eaton makes what the some call lunch box lockers that replace the spider gears in the main carrier. No special tools required.

My 91 Suburban has a factory gov lock and the first time I took it wheeling I was surprised how well it did since the front lock outs didn't work.

Not really unless you drive it like a hooligan. Now, a full locker can make for interesting turning and some other things, but a good LSD acts as one wheel drive until slippage occurs, then you have actual 2wd.

This sounds interesting but I can't seem to find a price.

Found the 445 fuel vent.

Plugged up solid. Won’t pass air or carb cleaner.

One must remove the wrap handle to see it.

I may just add a vent of my own design.

Husky 445 owner fessed up. It was a ‘factory refurbished’ purchased online.

I bet ten USD to a donut the tank vent was a manufacturing defect from the get-go.

ARB air locker

Or electric locker .

Less trouble but costly

That’s what we put in dads 76 dodge Cummins build. Was the air lockers. Work real good. They don’t slip I can attest to that. He had a front wheel bearing lock up and he put it in 4wd locked to try to get it off the road and twisted the front stub axles clean into. Dana 60 sure are tough.

Carl, did you ship yer lowballers to NWA? Posted a saw on Craigslist. Less tan 2 hrs later a guy with a very descriptive name, idiot microwave, offered me less than half what I posted. I did maintain control but can see how a guy can truly express his opinion. Not even sure I wasn’t asking too much but if he comes back his price will go up. What $ range is ms250 with new b&c, sprocket, adjustor pulling 145 psi going for?

Santa delivered early this year.
For those who don't know that is tarylfixesall and slippers from YouTube. Both limited edition Slippers are still available. The chainsaw and Taryl were last years gift. He has been watching over me at work all year and came home to watch over my recovery from a medical condition. Two more weeks they can both join me back at work.

Jerry:
Search EBay completed/sold listings for MS250, add in the shipping and deduct 20-30% for a local sale.

Stuff tends to sell for more than they are worth on evilbay. [emoji2960]
Thanks much Carl. I’m way off on my asking price. Guess they’re worth more to me than to others. Gotta get over that so I can move a bunch on down the road. Need to clean my garage out. I’ve always been better at rebuilding saws than selling them. You’ve been a great help and is much appreciated.
