Happy Friday y'all.

The MS250 and 251 are 2 of the most underrated saws in the Stihl lineup imo. The 192, 193, and 194 are underrated as well. My buddy uses the 250 for his tree service. His climber prefers an old 192 to the 201. I love my 200t but after working with the crew and seeing what that 192 does day after day, I wouldn't invest in a commercial grade arborist saw again.

The narrow chain and bar really bring it out with carb mod, muffler, and a few degrees of timing..

Even the walbro 215 is pretty cheap..
Those 170's make good power for what they are.. Once the carb can feed em.
Just have sketchy oilers.

I just had a ms210 give to me. But it has the tool less adjuster. Believe it just needs carb cleaned.

Iffin it’s got the EZ pull deal be aware they are a whole different animal. Coil is special, also flywheel and crankcase to boot.

The 028 runs and responds well to carb adjustment. [emoji106] Oiler works fine. [emoji108]

Gave it ‘the dip’. Needs AF, new sprocket drum, chain catcher and fuel line for ‘insurance’.

Old devil, slotted screws and three screw recoil cover but, made in Virginia Beach.

Going to be an excellent heirloom from the guy’s uncle.

Unfortunately that is what this one is but the price was right. Put it up last year and wouldn’t run this year so he bought a new saw.
