Tig weld a nut to it, and then turn it out.

Probably the best option, if only I welded. I may ask around for some help with this idea.

It is a free Stihl FS80 trimmer with good compression. I am going to see if it will run before I go to deep in repairs. I need a new pull handle first!

Calling for rain tonight & tomorrow morning. About 1/4” per the guessers. Somehow I was the only one in field as the 2 guys that wanted to get this field done tonight aren’t. One of them is sitting @ a poker table @ the boat & the other one is strapped into his race car... Must be trying to make up the difference for these poor yields.
The benefit of being the Lone Ranger is I don’t get conflicting marching orders. :D

What are you getting on average?
25-35 on the last 90 acres.
One field that has a 10 year average of 55 looked it like they would be world beaters but most of the beans were the size of bb’s & lots of flat pods, it made 28. Apparently when we walked thru them to check them we were grabbing pods from healthy plants. The regional seed rep said they appeared to have brown stem rot, it Feeds the plant but doesn’t put anything back into the pod/beans. We will have to do some research on it. I sure hope it was just the field & not the beans variety, my brother has another 300 acres of that particular brand/variety.

Dad’s at home were around 53, the ones I ran yesterday that were Dad/brothers were about 30.
