Howdy all. Decent work week, side work has been steady to almost too much. Two different Cat trackhoes came in for various things. One has been in the shop for a month or so as I wait on parts and time lol. I’m anxious to get back into the woods. I’ve got gobs to process already at the shop. Might need to plan a little GTG after it cools off a bit.

Had my birthday dinner last night and the girls outdid themselves with the cake!

If you want some good practice try playing with a blower since they are always under load or a trimmer. Plus they're cheaper than saws.

So this last carb do over, we checked under the welsh plug, poked needle thru the tiny holes and raised the metering lever a bunch.

It runs.

But rich as hell and the spit back is horrendous.

Back into it to lower the lever.

Do over #5.

There's more than one way to raise your exhaust!

Afternoon all! Managed to slip a disc in my damn neck. Looks like I'm on quarters for 72hrs. The muscle relaxers, anti inflammatory's, and pain meds aren't touching this pinch. I guess no sporty endeavors for a few days!

Gotta start behaving yourself! Some of those positions don't work when you get longer in tooth!

Runs and cuts. Carb in the ballpark. Spit back contained.

Rubber hose is still pliable after sixty years. [emoji6]

I clocked the starter around for an up pull.

Fast idle latch lost it’s knob so we have to rely on zip tie.

The piston for Echo 590 #2 has bounced in and out USPS KCK a couple times. It went all the way back to Richmond, VA and back to boot.

It should have been delivered Saturday.
