Couple of months back I treated the yard area with tick granules. Pretty much eliminated getting ticks. But I wasn't able to treat the brush areas.
I read that they will cling to brush/tall grass for up to 2 years waiting for something to pass that they will drop on to.

As far as I know it is gone. I guess the only true way to know is to do a blood test.

My son said they had a nasty storm roll thru up to Boone IA about 45 min ago, heavy rain & some 70mph winds, haven’t heard of any hail. It looks to be getting into @hoskvarna ’s neighborhood now. It looked like about 20 counties in Iowa from north central Iowa south to the MO line & 3 counties in MO under T -Storm warning from the same storm.

Holy Cow. The airport in Le Grand had a high wind of over 100mph, that’s just west of Chelsea. They say the worst of the storm is in/ around Tama County. I hope @hoskvarna & family as well as others are hunkered down.

I was south of Ogden when storm hit. 70-80 mph winds for 20 minutes. Semi in front of us was tipping to one side many times. Two other semis did blow over.

My son just got home to evaluate things, I am heading north to help him out cleaning up. He said a Co-op south of them@ Slater lost 2, 500, 000 bushel bins & I saw a different one @ Minburn according to the news that lost 1 & damaged a couple more. Sounds like @Douglas Ostrander was right in the middle of it also.

Those are the 90 footers. That’s awful big bins to go down in 100 mile an hour wind. They must’ve been empty? No external stiffeners?
I know a kid that puts up Sukup grain bins if they need replacements LOL
