Evening all! It was a bit brisk today, but I got two an a half acres owed across the street today to help feed horses and cattle. I' still blowing dirt and grass out of my nose...

I'm hoping to get some stacking and cutting done tomorrow but we'll see what else life throws this way. I may take the kids out back ad work on some pistol fundamentals with my Wife's Ruger MKIII. This media paranoia/EOTW crap is beyond absurd.

Gotta love the MK series of Ruger's. I have a couple stainless MK II's and they're a couple of my favorites to shoot.

People out here aren't all spun up about the nonsense the media is spewing, but it beyond irritates me, that, because of people acting like lunatics elsewhere (fighting over butt wipe and panic buying everything in sight), we are fixin to start feeling the repercussions of their actions all the way out here.

Thankfully, we have enough cattle and livestock out here, there's no way we will starve, but good grief, I wish people would quit believing everything they see on TV, or read on Facebook.

And geese!!!
Yeah. I grew up in the flyway to Swan Lake Wildlife Refuge. The farmers would use propane cannons to scare them off. They could clean off a field of wheat overnight and the only thing left would be goose poop.
We lost the use of a bird for the day when he sniffed around one of the cannons to see what the hissing was then it lit off.[emoji15]

So there I was yesterday, getting some gas, and filled up a few extra 5 gallon jerry cans of gas, since I reckon that will be the next thing to go, and a gentleman pulled up and jokingly said "So are you going to self quarantine, from the coronavirus"? I said "Maybe I'm more different than I thought, but my life is basically a self quarantine. I've been doing this for years now". He laughed, and I chuckled a bit. I'm not sure if he thought I was just making a joke or not. I now realize just how far ahead of the curve I really am. :-)
