The trick is, wander around a looooong time. Then come out with just the oil.
"Oh, I'm sorry honey. I got distracted. What was it you wanted?" Then go back inside. Wander around at least another hour and cone out with half of what they wanted.
Sometimes I've played that game for a good 6 hours.

If it's a really good farm store, I can check out every nut, bolt, seals, tool boxes, axels. You name it, I'll look it over till I see it's atoms.

Well, I got 1.5 cords delivered, a deck and trees removed at a Friend's parent house, and and my Mother's toilet resealed this weekend, and am getting read to go to bed, switching to nights for the next three nights, then surgery. Yeehaw!

Same here. Hardly ever see ash around here. Ironically, I have 2 in my yard. But haven't cut one in 5+ years; and, never been offered one by a tree service.

When I do run across some, it goes in the private, long term storage stacks in the shed.
Along with the hickory, Pecan, beech and Oak..
