I just talk to my nephew Andrew, he just bought a new Dodge 2500 with the hemi in it.
He said his display is currently reading 12 average, but it only has about 2000 miles on it

Wonder which gears it has. Might get that if it has 3.92 or 4.11. Our one has 3.42 and gets really good and has the 8spd trans so it still pulls well.

My 6.2 gasser in the 2019 superduty is averaging 14.6 over the last 9000 miles.2019 model.
That’s city and highway and field all combined.
I might get 16 on the highway..

That sounds much better than one of these rams. The 17 power stroke is doing about 16-18 combined and 9.5-10.8 pulling the fifth wheel.

I've never gotten any of the "pie in the sky" #'s people talk about.
Heck, if a heavy duty PU can get me 15ish, I'm happy with that. Especially since I just filled the new one up for $1.99 a gallon.
Not sure what the 7.3 and 6 speed will get, but it should be decent I hope.
It runs around 2000 RPM at 67 mph

Anybody planning an actual GTG around these parts? Like face to face as opposed to keyboard to keyboard? :-)

Do we need to do that.....?

I’d be happy to host at my shop, plenty of room. It wouldn’t be hard to arrange some various stuff to cut etc.

If somebody has a more country forested place I’d be happy to help setup and cover some costs.....

A guy brought me a 036 that has a scored piston on the exhaust side, not bad scored , saw is in really good shape, vac test good .

What piston and rings aftermarket y'all recommend?

I think the transfer will come off cylinder walls.

I’m surprised the 19 is doing what it’s doing. The 2000 I had with a little 5 position switch would bump 650 miles per tank empty. It had a 42 gallon tank and would hold 35-38gallons or so when I filled up.
